Your Role

We are currently seeking an Operations Technician whose primary responsibilities will be within ABB control systems. As an Operations Technician, you’ll work closely with both operations and maintenance teams focused on crushing & feed systems as well as the concentrator, with an emphasis on coordination and development on the shop floor. The role is independent and varied, where you will drive improvement efforts, lead initiatives, and ensure that work adheres to our procedures, processes, and high safety standards.

Collaboration is a central part of the role—you’ll have many points of contact and help create clarity, structure, and momentum in the operations

Your Team

You’ll be part of a small team with a broad range of responsibilities and will have many points of contact, both internally and externally. The work is scheduled during daytime hours.

We are seeking another colleague for the position of Operations Technician for gates, overhead cranes, and elevators, as well as grating and railings—see separate job posting.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will, among other things:

• Work with reporting systems for operational downtime
• Drive improvements in the ABB system for operators
• Lead and structure work meetings focused on operational issues
• Drive smaller projects related to operations
• Prepare documentation, action plans, and follow-ups
• Participate in projects related to the procurement and development of equipment
• Ensure that ergonomics, the work environment, and safety are taken into account
• Be actively involved in the business and maintain an ongoing dialogue with various functions

Your Contribution

We are looking for someone who works in a structured and independent manner and has a strong ability to drive and follow up on improvement initiatives. You are solution-oriented and thrive in a role with many points of contact, where collaboration and communication are central. Furthermore, you have the ability to prioritize and work methodically, even in longer-term processes.

You contribute to a professional and trusting collaborative environment and work to foster a safe, inclusive, and well-functioning workplace.

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Experience with and a good understanding of ABB control systems
• Strong administrative skills and proficiency with Office programs
• Strong written and spoken Swedish and English
• Manual Class B driver’s license

Experience with purchasing machinery/equipment and a maintenance system, such as Maximo, is a plus.
