Your role:

We are looking for a driven and independent accountant with knowledge of VAT and excise tax. In the role, you work broadly with accounting issues, invoicing and other ongoing financial processes, while having a special responsibility for the areas of VAT and excise duties.

Your team:

The position is a full-time, permanent position based in Boliden. You report to the Head of Accounting and are part of a dedicated team of 7 people. Together you are responsible for the central accounting function for all of Boliden Minerals' operations.

Your tasks:

  • Responsible for the company's VAT and excise tax returns and provide support to the business in relevant tax issues.
  • Participate in monthly accounts and provide ongoing support to other finance departments within Boliden.
  • Manage some invoicing and tasks linked to accounts receivable.
  • Provide support and investigate accounting issues from our internal customers.
  • Contribute to and actively participate in projects aimed at further developing and streamlining internal processes.

Your contribution:

We are looking for you who have experience and good knowledge from previous work in accounting. To succeed in the role, you need to be able to work independently and drive your tasks forward. You are confident in your accounting skills and especially in VAT and excise tax, which is one of your key responsibilities.

You work proactively, are happy to take your own initiatives and contribute with both flexibility and commitment to the continued development and improvement work within the organization. With your good collaboration skills and structured way of working, you will be an important part of the team and a key player in our work to create even smarter and more efficient processes.

The role requires that you master Swedish and English in both speech and writing, and have a B driving license as travel to our other facilities may occur. It is meritorious if you have experience of working in Dynamics 365.
