Your role:

As a Business Controller with us, you will be an important part of the controlling function for the Mines business area at Boliden. You will analyze financial data, follow up on results and ensure that budgets are kept to support business decisions and contribute to the company's profitability and strategic goals. You will also work with reporting, performance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, long term planning and strategy issues. Your role will also include project monitoring and supporting managers and steering groups on financial matters. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of working methods and processes together with the team, as well as identify and visualize improvement opportunities.

Your team:

You belong to the controlling department for the Mines business area at Boliden and you work closely with both the operational activities and the staffs. You will report to the Head of Controlling, based in Boliden.

Your tasks:

  • Active participation in and contribution to the development of the controlling function for the Mines Business Area and its central functions.
  • Support managers and management teams in financial matters with a focus on sales and business decisions.
  • Participate in the work of long-term planning, financial analysis and ensure that budgets and forecasts are kept.
  • Analyze results, identify improvement opportunities and visualize financial relationships.
  • Responsible for ongoing reporting, performance analysis in monthly accounts, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Support the business in financial issues related to production and sales.
  • Follow up projects and investments, be a sounding board for project managers and ensure that financial aspects are integrated into the documents.
  • Contribute to the development of working methods and processes that strengthen the profitability and efficiency of the business area.

We are looking for you who have:

  • Relevant economic higher education, for example in business administration, accounting and finance or equivalent work experience.
  • Work experience in finance, for example as a financial assistant, economist, accountant or controller.
  • Good communication skills orally and in writing in both Swedish and English.
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
  • Driving license for a passenger car.

It is meritorious with:

  • Experience of monthly accounts, reporting or budget work or other finance-related work in the production industry.
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems as well as familiarity with BI tools.
