Chemicals Coordinator, Temporary Position
Would you like to work at one of the world’s most advanced smelters and contribute to a safe and sustainable work environment? As a Chemical Coordinator with us at Boliden Rönnskär, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to work closely with operations and help develop work methods and processes for chemical management. This is a temporary position starting no earlier than September 1 and running through February 28, 2027, with the possibility of extension.
Your Role
As a Chemical Coordinator, you will be part of the section for workplace environment, quality/operational development, and safety. You will be responsible for supporting the organization in chemical-related matters pertaining to the environment and the work environment, as well as ensuring that work is conducted in accordance with applicable legislation and internal requirements. The role involves close collaboration with the business, where you will work both operationally on the front lines and contribute to the development of procedures and work methods. You will play a key role in strengthening the safety culture and driving improvements in chemical management. Working hours are during the day, Monday through Friday.

The department possesses a broad range of expertise in occupational health and safety and quality, which provides excellent opportunities for learning and development. The role involves frequent interaction with various parts of the organization.
