Do you want to work with modern mining technology and contribute to safe and efficient production? We are now looking for a crusher and belt operator for our plant in Kristineberg. With us, you will be part of a close-knit team that works with both new and existing underground equipment.

Your role

As a crusher and conveyor operator, you are responsible for the operation, maintenance and monitoring of our new feeding of rock from the mine. You will work closely with colleagues in a tight team where problem solving and cooperation are a natural part of everyday life. The role also involves simple maintenance work and work during maintenance stops of the operation. The working hours are shift work every other week and every other day off.

Your team

You will be part of a group with expertise in mechanics and maintenance. We often work in pairs or small groups to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Your tasks

• Operation and maintenance of crushing plant and belt conveyor
• Rounding and monitoring of feeding systems during operation
• Simple maintenance and troubleshooting
• Reporting and logging in maintenance systems

Your contribution

We are looking for you who are responsible, careful and attentive and have a high level of safety awareness. You enjoy working both independently and in small groups and have good communication skills.

Qualification requirements are:

• High school diploma in industry, engineering or automotive
• Experience in mining, process industry or heavy industry
• Good knowledge of hydraulics and competence in welding
• Ability to handle control systems, machines and simple troubleshooting
• Ability to cope with heavy lifting and to work at heights with safety equipment
• Basic computer skills
• Fluent language skills in Swedish and basic understanding in English
• B-driving license

It is meritorious with:

• Experience working with crushers and conveyors
• Knowledge of Maximo or similar maintenance system
• Experience in mine logistics
