Your role

We are looking for you who want to contribute to the future of diamond drilling for Boliden in Kankbergsgruvan. You are motivated by working with technology, structured working methods and a high focus on safety. Here you will have the opportunity to work with modern equipment, develop in your role and make a real difference in an operation where geological information is crucial to the planning of the entire mine.

Your tasks

• You are the operator of our diamond drilling rigs and work with underground core drilling.
• Ensure that our diamond drilling rigs are in good condition and kept in operation through maintenance, troubleshooting and service.
• Work with a dedicated team of colleagues and have regular contact with other functions in the mine, service contractors and sometimes suppliers.
• Carefully document your work digitally and actively participate in our work on continuous improvement.
• You work in shifts every other week, Monday to Sunday even weeks, and varied morning and afternoon.

Your contribution

You enjoy working independently but see the value of collaboration when needed. You are curious about technology, have the willingness to learn new systems and take responsibility for contributing to a safe and inclusive work environment.

We are looking for you who have:

• High school education, preferably with a technical focus
• B driving license
• Good knowledge of Swedish and basic knowledge of English
• Basic computer skills; interest in technology and systems

It is meritorious if you have experience of:

• Underground work
• Diamond drilling or operator work
• Service, industrial or maintenance work
