Your role:

We are now strengthening the organization with an innovative electrical power technician for our electrical department for Boliden's processing plant and underground mine in Garpenberg. We have an important task in ensuring that the business processes and facilities work optimally. We also work with continuous improvements to have a world-class production. As an electrical power technician, you have an eventful role where you get to work with the development, planning and preventive maintenance of the electrical plant. The assignment includes maintaining and optimizing the availability of our electric power systems.

The position is a permanent position with office working hours. Underground work may be involved.

Your tasks:

  • Design of electrical systems in the plant
  • Electrification and energy optimization of our fixed and mobile plants
  • Investigate, identify and come up with appropriate solutions to problems
  • Planning of electrical maintenance work
  • Participate in projects as a technical specialist

Your contribution:

  • Civil/university engineer or equivalent experience in power and electrical engineering with competencies in areas such as dimensioning, planning, design and electrical network construction.
  • Worked with maintenance, preferably in the process industry and have knowledge of how to conduct systematic maintenance.
  • Knowledge of safety rules and regulations regarding systematic electrical safety work
  • Swedish and English in speech and writing
  • B driving license

More advantageous is:

  • Training as an electrical power technician.
  • Experience with electrical systems in mines and processing plants.
