Your Role

Do you want to lead people while working closely with the business? As Supervisor of the Electrical Department at the Boliden Concentrator, you’ll lead day-to-day operations alongside a dedicated team. The role combines leadership with hands-on involvement in operations and gives you the opportunity to influence work methods, talent development, and the long-term direction of the business.

You will serve as a key link between production, maintenance, and employees, helping to ensure that operations run safely and efficiently. The work schedule is daytime, Monday through Friday. On-call duty is part of the position.

Your Team

You will lead a team of six employees responsible for electrical maintenance at the Concentrator. The team is characterized by collaboration, knowledge sharing, and open dialogue, where diverse perspectives and experiences are valued. You’ll work closely with production, mechanical maintenance, and other functions within the operation and will have the support of both management colleagues and specialists.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and assign daily tasks within the Electrical Department.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities based on the business’s needs.
• Contribute to a safe work environment and actively promote health and safety initiatives.
• Support employees and the business in technical matters.
• Develop work methods, procedures, and processes together with the team.
• Follow up on activities and contribute to long-term planning.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and other internal functions.

We’re looking for someone who has

• High school education in electrical engineering or equivalent expertise
• Several years of experience working in the electrical field
• Experience in industrial operations
• Proficiency in Swedish and English
• Class B driver’s license

Previous experience in supervision or leadership is a plus, as is experience with process improvement and business development. Experience working with ABB 800xA or other maintenance systems is also an advantage.
