We are now looking for a committed and motivated fire protection coordinator who wants to be involved in continuing to develop our work with fire protection. In the role, you drive the strategic and operational fire protection work forward to ensure the safety and security of both our employees and our facilities.

As a fire protection coordinator, you are self-driven, take the initiative and are easy to adapt to changing needs - you are simply flexible and confident in prioritizing correctly in different situations. You are driven, have the ability to listen to the needs of the organization and translate them into concrete improvements and solutions. The role requires you to take a large and collective responsibility for fire protection work across the entire site. You need to be able to structure, coordinate and control the processes to create clarity, continuity and uniform working methods.


As part of the work takes place at our facilities, there is shorter travel in the service. The working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday, and the role mainly requires presence on site.

Your team

You will belong to a smaller group located at the Boliden enrichment plant, which will be your natural starting point. At the same time, you work closely with several other departments in various forums and build a wide network both internally and externally. The role suits you who enjoy working independently, but who also have a very good ability to create collaborations and work effectively together with colleagues and external partners.

Your tasks

  • Be fire protection manager and manager of flammable goods
  • Responsible for ensuring that fire protection work is carried out according to established guidelines and legal requirements
  • Ensure that the work is carried out in a systematic manner in line with current legislation and other requirements in fire and be responsible for fire protection documentation
  • Be advisory on fire protection issues in general on site, but also advise on new projects
  • Responsible and coordinate third party fire safety inspections
  • Responsible for coordinating insurance inspections and follow-up of actions
  • Plan and carry out emergency drills and exercises with our signposts
  • Contacts with authorities and cooperation with emergency services

Your contribution

  • Post-secondary education in fire or professional experience that we consider equivalent
  • Several years of experience in fire protection and safety in industry
  • Good communication skills in both Swedish and English in speech and writing
  • Understanding of legal requirements and standards for process and sprinkler systems
  • Very good systemand computer skills
  • You have previous experience in organizing and leading meetings
  • Bdriving license

It is meritorious with

  • Senior competence in technical fire protection for buildings and facilities
  • Experience in design phases linked to fire protection
