Do you want to lead and develop planning and preparation in one of Sweden's most advanced industrial environments? Aitik is now looking for a Group Manager Planning & Preparation for the maintenance within the Enrichment Plant. A role for you who want to combine leadership, structure and technical business development.

Your role

As Group Manager Planning & Preparation, you are responsible for leading and developing the work group consisting of planners and preparers in maintenance. You have personnel and work environment responsibility and create the conditions for structured, safe and long-term maintenance work.

You have overall responsibility for both short- and long-term maintenance planning and work closely with operations, maintenance and other functions within Aitik. The role involves great scope to influence working methods, collaborations and the development of the planning and preparation process. You report to the Maintenance Section Manager.

Your tasks

In the role, you are responsible for, among other things:

  • Leading, coaching and developing staff in planning and preparation
  • Responsible for health and safety, security and day-to-day management of operations
  • Driving and developing planning and preparation processes to meet the needs of the business
  • Ensuring collaboration between operations, maintenance and external contractors
  • Lead daily meetings and work systematically with follow-up
  • Coordinate planning for the plant's planned maintenance stops
  • When necessary, work operationally with planning within your own department

Requirements:

  • Experience in maintenance or operations planning in industry
  • Experience in leadership or coordinating responsibility
  • Good technical understanding and planning skills
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English
  • Gymnasium education and B driving license


It is meritorious if you have experience from the mining or mineral industry, enrichment plants and work in maintenance systems such as Maximo.
