As Enrichment Manager in Garpenberg, you will have a key role in one of the world's most modern enrichment plants. Here you lead a high-tech and socially important process business where safety, quality and sustainable production are at the center. Your role

In the role of Enrichment Manager, you are responsible for leading and developing the enrichment plant in Garpenberg. You have overall responsibility for production, safety, work environment, budget and environmental performance. With a focus on process efficiency, stable operations and continuous improvement, you drive the business forward in close collaboration with production, process, maintenance and dam safety. You will manage four directly reporting section managers and have indirect personnel responsibility for around one hundred employees. The role involves both strategic and operational responsibility for developing technology, working methods and safety culture in a capital-intensive and technically advanced environment.


Your team

You are responsible for the enrichment plant's management team and lead the Maintenance Manager, Production Manager, Process Manager and Section Manager for dams and water treatment. Together you drive the operational and strategic development of the business. In the role of Enrichment Manager, you report to the Site Manager and are part of Garpenberg's overall management team, which includes the Mine Manager, Work Environment Manager, Environmental Manager, HR Manager, Project Manager and Finance Manager.


Your tasks

  • Lead and develop the enrichment plant with responsibility for production, personnel, budget and work environment.
  • Ensure high operational safety and process efficiency.
  • Exercise dust safety responsibility and ensure that dust-related requirements, procedures and controls are met.
  • Act as project owner and commissioner for major expansion and investment projects within the enrichment plant.
  • Develop structure, procedures and long-term objectives for the business.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, permits, safety standards and internal guidelines.
  • Lead section managers and support their development and the teams' work processes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external specialists in process, technology and environment.

We are looking for you who have:

  • High school or university education in technology, such as process technology, mineral technology or industrial technology, preferably at master's level.
  • Several years of experience working in a similar role, or other experience that provides a good understanding of the responsibilities and complexity of the assignment.
  • Documented leadership experience with the ability to lead large teams in complex operating environments.
  • Experience in safety-critical work and health and safety responsibilities.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.
  • B-driving license.


Advantageous

  • Experience in enrichment processes, metallurgy or other advanced process industry.
  • Experience in development-oriented work, change management or investment-heavy projects.
  • Knowledge of digitalization, automation or modern production and control systems.
  • Safety-related certifications, such as BAS-U/P.
