Your role:

As Head of the Media Section at Rönnskär, you have overall responsibility for the operation of the leaching plant, the treatment plants, the sulphuric acid plants and the energy center. Your task is to ensure that the operations function efficiently and deliver high-quality results in line with set goals and established processes. The role includes staff and budget responsibilities as well as planning, coordination and follow-up. You also drive development and change work within the section, with a focus on continuous improvement and long-term sustainability.

Your team:

The Media section currently consists of approximately 60 employees. In your role as section manager, you have five direct reports in the roles of unit managers and production engineers. Together, you contribute to a stable and efficient operation, where cooperation, responsibility and commitment are key values. You report to the Production Manager.


Your tasks:

  • Personnel and work environment responsibility for the section.
  • Responsible for cost and production budgets and ensure that results follow set plans.
  • Operational responsibility for availability and utilization of facilities.
  • Ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with legislation and regulations, as well as permits and official decisions.
  • Work with continuous improvements with action plans and follow-up linked to the work environment and safety.
  • Drive development and change work within the section.

Your contribution:

  • University or college education in the relevant field.
  • Experience in a senior position with personnel responsibility.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in Swedish and English.
  • B driving license.

We would like you to have experience in the process or basic industry, as well as knowledge or previous experience of development and change work.
