A program designed for your future

For one year, divided into three periods, you will explore how Boliden operates end to end, and how your own unique background and experience connect to the bigger picture. As a graduate, you are employed in a permanent position from day one and supported by an individual development program. Throughout the year several engaged and experienced colleagues, will guide you in your progress. You will become part of an international network of graduates and colleagues, expanding both your knowledge and connections. Six joint training weeks with top-class lecturers will challenge your thinking and give you the opportunity to further deepen your skills. After graduation you will continue your journey with a mentor for six months. In addition, you will receive practical training in project methodology and Boliden’s production methods, enabling you to apply what you learn directly in our operations.

In this role you'll help strengthen HSE practices by ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting operational teams, and driving continuous improvement through audits, training, and collaboration.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and develop systematic health, safety, and environmental (HSE) work in accordance with ISO 45001 and ISO 9001
  • Provide professional support to managers and employees
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Conduct risk assessments and training
  • Contribute to audits, reporting, and continuous improvement of the HSE management system

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical, chemical, civil or environmental engineering in combination with occupational health and safety AND/OR Risk and safety management

What you bring

You hold a relevant university degree (minimum Bachelor’s), completed in 2024 or later. You can communicate clearly in English, hold a valid driver’s license and are available to start in September 2026.

How to apply

Submit your application and CV in English. The selection process includes tests and personal interviews, starting after the application deadline. If qualified, you will get further instructions about the next steps in the selection process.

The assessment center will take place on-site in Sweden, on February 4–5, 2026.

Boliden will cover travel and accommodation expenses related to your participation in the assessment center.

As travel will be required before and after the event, please ensure your availability between February 3–6, 2026, should you progress to the final stage of the selection process.
