Your role

As a temporary laboratory technician at Rönnskärsverken, you will work with metal analysis of copper, lead, sulfuric acid and other base and precious metals. You handle and analyze samples, work during the day but also have the opportunity for training in shift work if necessary. The role is production supporting and crucial to ensure the quality of purchased and sold material - an important basis for business decisions.

Your team

You will be part of the "Sample Preparation and Chemical Analysis" section within the "Materials Management and Business Development" department. The team consists of 16 dedicated colleagues who together create a work environment characterized by job satisfaction, collaboration and development.

Your tasks

You will work with:

  • Handling and preparation of samples
  • Metal analysis of various metals for Rönnskärsverken
  • Various tasks with the possibility of broadening skills
  • Daytime work, with some training in shift work if necessary

Your contribution

We are looking for you who:

  • Have a high school education with a natural science focus (nature-nature), it is meritorious with further education in chemistry
  • Are careful, have good communication and cooperation skills and can prioritize
  • Have respect for chemicals and acids, follows safety routines and uses protective equipment
  • Speaks and writes Swedish fluently
  • Has a B-driving license

Previous experience of laboratory work is meritorious but not a requirement - many of our previous substitutes have come directly from high school.
