Your role:

As a local buyer, you play a key role in ensuring delivery reliability and thereby contributing to the success of the business. Each buyer has their own area of responsibility within the business and is responsible for the smooth running of the whole process. We collaborate with each other in the areas to solve business demands and challenges that arise. This approach ensures that our procurement is sustainable, cost-effective and strategically aligned.

We are looking for you who are unpretentious, solution-focused, have a genuine interest in development and digitization and thrive in an environment that is constantly evolving.

The working hours are daytime Mon-Fri 07.30-16.00 with flex. Travel may occur. Probationary period may apply.

Your team:

You will be part of a close-knit and supportive team where there is a high ceiling and where we work closely together - that is our success factor. We actively collaborate with other departments within Boliden as well as several external parties and suppliers.

As a local buyer, you belong to the department "Finance and Supply" and report to the section manager for the supply.

Your duties:

  • Place orders for stocked items and ensure that they are correctly registered
  • Follow up on delivery confirmations and monitor that deliveries are made according to the agreed date
  • Act quickly in the event of deviations - find out the causes and drive solutions forward
  • Ensure delivery reliability - a crucial factor for the smooth running of the business
  • Have close contact with important partners such as the IT department, Maximo support and other sites
  • Contribute to the efficiency of the business by being proactive and solution-focused
  • Explore and implement digital tools to improve the purchasing process

Your contribution:

  • High school education in relevant field
  • Swedish and English in speech and writing
  • B-driving license

Meritande is:

  • High school focus on economics, further education in purchasing, logistics.
  • Experience from similar work
  • Experience with the Maximo business system
  • Good knowledge of Excel and other Office packages and Co-pilot
  • Knowledge of other languages, such as Italian, German or French.
