Your role:

We are currently looking for ten machine operators for Loading and Transportation in Aitik, for four of our shift teams. Aitik is a leader in the autonomous process and the role of machine operator may evolve - we are looking for you who are curious and interested in joining us in the development we are facing.

As a machine operator in Aitik, you will be part of a larger context and work with mining ore and gray rock. In the role of Machine Operator for loading and transportation, you will spend your days with rock handling in the form of transport, loading and tipping reception. The assignment is carried out both individually and together with your closest colleagues in the shift team and in collaboration with other departments within the production.

To thrive and fit in the role, we see that you have a methodical and careful way of working. You are flexible, responsible and always have safety in focus. It is also important that you communicate effectively and clearly and enjoy working both alone and with others.

The location of the services is our open pit mine Aitik and the working hours are arranged according to the writing form K3 - which means morning, afternoon, week off, night, week off.

Your tasks:

  • Transport and load rock material with rock trucks and wheel loaders
  • Load material from excavator to rock truck.
  • Ensure that production meets quality requirements and timeframes.
  • Comply with safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment

Your contribution:

  • High school education
  • Experience with heavy machinery
  • Communication skills in Swedish and English
  • B driving license (for at least three years)

It is meritorious if you have experience of handling several different machines - for example excavators, wheel loaders, tracked tractors and forklifts.
