For a century, our work has been part of the value chains that shape modern society. At Boliden, we know that the metals we mine and make available will continue to play a crucial role in the future - what matters is how we produce them. Join us and drive change for future generations.
Your role:
We are looking for a committed and analytical maintenance engineer for the Boliden concentrating plant - an assignment where you will combine operational work with strategic responsibility. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a central role in ensuring operational reliability, plant availability and long-term development of our production facilities. You work closely with the business and are responsible, together with various stakeholders, for driving improvement work, development projects and contributing to increased reliability in our machines and plants. In this role, you will act as an expert for new installations and upgrades, and support technicians and teams in their quality and improvement work. You will also carry out analyses and draw up plans to develop and strengthen preventive maintenance.
To succeed in the role, we see that you are a curious, committed and communicative person who thrives on collaborating with others. You have the ability to lead projects, engage your colleagues and create a common direction towards set goals. You are comfortable in a role where you balance long-term goals with daily operational challenges. With an analytical and structured approach, you have a strong drive to improve and optimize our maintenance processes together with us.
Your team:
You will be part of a team of five employees who supervise, schedule, prepare and carry out maintenance work for the Enrichment Plant's fixed facilities. Together with the section manager and colleagues on site, you work to ensure a high level of operational safety. In your role, you will also be part of a network for the Boliden area - where you together develop processes, working methods and support each other - all to ensure an efficient and sustainable maintenance process throughout the Boliden area.
