Your role

As a maintenance engineer in the Maintenance Technology section, you have a central task in developing and driving maintenance work and strengthening operational reliability at Rönnskär's facilities. You develop and optimize our maintenance strategies with the support of data, insights from operations and analysis of key figures. You also ensure that common working methods are established and followed throughout the business. In the role, you work long-term and strategically with maintenance issues and lead development projects and improvement work.

With your analytical skills and structured approach, you translate insights into practical improvements that strengthen operational reliability over time. You have a strong technical interest and are motivated by learning new things and sharing your knowledge with others. Leading, prioritizing and communicating clearly come naturally to you, and you always have good collaboration in focus.


Your team

You will be part of an experienced and committed team of five maintenance engineers at Rönnskär, where you work closely together to develop both working methods and technology. The section also includes system developers and administrators for maintenance systems and digital tools, as well as specialists in soil, construction, refractory installations, pressure vessels and lifting devices. Together you form a group with high technical competence, curiosity and a strong will to drive the development of processes and digital working methods forward.


Your tasks

  • Lead rotor shaft analyses together with experts
  • Develop preventive plans for critical equipment
  • Coordinate major annual maintenance stops
  • Analyze maintenance data and key figures for improvements
  • Support and train the business on maintenance issues
  • Develop agile ways of working for data collection
  • Provide technical support in condition monitoring and tribology


Your contribution

  • University or college degree in relevant field or higher education degree in the relevant field, or equivalent work experience
  • Good knowledge of maintenance processes and operational safety issues
  • Experience in driving development and improvement work
  • Experience with maintenance systems, such as Maximo.
  • Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English
  • B-driving license

It is meritorious if you have experience from the basic or process industry. We would like to see that you also have experience of working in project form, such as Base U and Base P.
