Your role:

Do you want to lead and develop the maintenance work in Sweden's deepest mine, the Renströms mine? As Section Manager for Maintenance, you will be responsible for our mobile machinery, fixed installations and storage departments, which are located both above and below ground. Here you work with the development and follow-up of strategies, working methods and routines with the goal of ensuring the highest safety for our employees and a top-class plant availability.In addition to the local work in the mine, you also participate in our joint maintenance development for the entire Boliden area. In your role as Section Manager for Maintenance, you are expected to have a coaching leadership style that inspires and enthuses the team.

Your team:

You will be responsible for and lead a team of seven direct reports consisting of four supervisors, two preparers/planners and one maintenance engineer. The maintenance section is organized centrally at the Boliden site and you will report to the department manager. In this role, you work closely with your team and other sections in Renström. You will also collaborate with other maintenance departments in Boliden and external actors. You will be an important part of the local management team in the Renström mine and are located with us in Renström.

Your tasks:

• Promote a safe and secure work environment where you plan, lead and develop your employees.
• Lead and follow up the maintenance work within the section by creating common working methods and routines.
• Work with continuous improvements, maintenance development and maintenance plans.
• Work strategically with maintenance strategies against set goals and budget.
• Strive for the business to be planned and analyzed, with continuous improvements based on maintenance data and outage statistics.

Your contribution:

• High school diploma and either college or university education in the relevant field or equivalent work experience in maintenance.
• Interest in leadership issues and preferably experience of a previous leadership role.
• Experience in maintenance, maintenance management, maintenance development or strategic work with maintenance.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language or willingness to learn, and good knowledge of English.
• B driving license.
• We see it as a merit if you have experience of change management and improvement work, as well as experience from the mining industry or other production industry.

The Boliden area in the mineral-rich Skellefte field in Västerbotten is where the first gold discovery was made, laying the foundation for a community and our business that has employed several generations of employees. Today, the area consists of the Kankberg, Renström and Kristineberg underground mines. There is also a concentrator and a leaching plant for gold and tellurium production. The number of employees in the Boliden area is currently around 700 people.
