Your role

As Maintenance Manager for the mine in Garpenberg, you have 10 dedicated supervisors in your immediate team with a total of 110 employees. Together with your team, you are responsible for the maintenance of mobile machines, fixed installations and electricity and automation. You work on developing maintenance strategies, working methods and structures that create the right conditions for subordinate managers and employees to work safely, efficiently and long-term. You are part of the mine management team and report directly to the Garpenberg Mine Manager. You will be a key person in leading the safety and operational safety work by creating clarity, commitment and good conditions in an expansive phase.

The position is located in Garpenberg and you work daytime Monday-Friday.

Your contribution

  • Engineering degree in maintenance or other technical education combined with relevant experience.
  • Experience from working in maintenance
  • Experience from the mining industry or other industrial operations with complex operations and high safety requirements.
  • Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing
  • Computer skills and experience of the Office package
  • B driving license
