Your role:

We are now looking for a committed unit manager who wants to lead the electrical emergency remedial maintenance at Boliden Rönnskär. Together in the team you contribute to a stable and efficient operation - A role where you as a leader can really be involved and make a difference. The assignment involves leading a team of shift workers who work with electrical emergency maintenance at Rönnskär's various production facilities. Since the workforce is shift-oriented, it is important that you have a communicative and responsive leadership, as well as a good ability to plan and coordinate the work in a structured way. In order to thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you are a committed and driven leader with a coaching approach. You are motivated by building good relationships and collaborations - both within the team and with other parts of the organization, such as production, maintenance and external suppliers. You are also goal-oriented and work systematically with issues in the work environment, safety and personnel.


Your team:

You will lead a team of 10 shift workers consisting of incident managers, industrial electricians and daytime technicians. Together in the team, you work for a good working environment, cooperation and efficiency. In the role of unit manager, you work closely with maintenance, production and external suppliers. You report directly to the section manager.

Your tasks:

  • Responsible for the daily operations by planning, coordinating and leading the team.
  • Manage budgetary, personnel and health and safety responsibilities.
  • Work actively with Rönnskär's safety and health issues together with the team.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support employees' skills development.
  • Lead and actively participate in improvement and development work.


Your contribution:

  • High school education with a focus on electrical engineering or equivalent post-secondary education.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding (This includes experience in e.g. Frequency converters and UPS, Control systems - e.g. ABB 800xA, as well as measurement technology, control and regulation technology).
  • Previous experience from supervisory assignments
  • Master both Swedish and English in speech and writing.
  • B-driving license

It is meritorious if you have experience from the production or process industry, as well as good IT skills.
