Mechanic for Rönnskär

We are currently expanding our maintenance team at Rönnskär and are looking for several mechanics for a temporary assignment through January 31, with the possibility of extension. We’d prefer that you start as soon as possible, but the start date can be adjusted by mutual agreement. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to work in an environment where safety, collaboration, and technical expertise are central.

Your Role

As a mechanic at Rönnskär, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment within our operations. You will perform both preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on machines and production equipment. The work is hands-on and varied, involving problem-solving and collaboration with other professional groups.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational disruptions
• Participate in planning and preparations for maintenance operations
• Contribute to order, safety, and efficiency in the workplace

Your contribution

We’re looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work and has an eye for detail. You’re meticulous, solution-oriented, and have a strong sense of safety. The ability to collaborate and a positive attitude are important.

Qualification requirements:

• High school diploma with a focus on industry, mechanics, or similar
• Experience in mechanical maintenance or repairs
• Basic computer skills
• Fluent Swedish and good English skills
• A Class B driver’s license is required

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, transmissions, belts/tires, pumps, and welding
• Forklift certification, hot work certification, mobile work platforms, fall protection
