As a Mechanic in the Truck Workshop, the tasks are mainly service and repair work on our mobile machines as well as component parts. General mechanical maintenance work is also included in the position. Working hours are set to 12-hour shifts around the clock.
We are looking for a mechanic with a feel for the mine's needs and a broad technical knowledge and interest. We see that you have a high school education, preferably automotive engineering or a similar education. Knowledge of Maximo and good computer skills are meritorious as the computer is an important tool in our work, for example troubleshooting. If you have experience in tire handling, welding, machine-electricity and/or gas cutting, that is also a merit.
We attach great importance to personal qualities and are looking for someone who is used to independent work, but also has good collaboration skills. As a person, you are expected to be able to take your own initiative and be flexible in your way of working and treatment. You are organized with a high sense of safety. Furthermore, we see that you have good social skills that make you a valuable team player at work.
You have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. B driving license is a requirement.
