Your role

We are now looking for Mechanics for the Truck workshop in Aitik, you will work with service and repairs of our mobile machines as well as component repairs. We are based in our workshop where we perform troubleshooting, repairs and general mechanical maintenance, but some of the assignment also takes place in the field.

Your team

The work group is a positive and committed team consisting of mechanics working in the truck workshop, the tire workshop and the coil hall. It is an open and social team that values good cooperation and responsibility. We are now looking for two new stars to join our team!

The working hours are scheduled for daytime and the employment is for a permanent position.

Your contribution

For the role of mechanic, we are looking for you who have a sense of the needs of the mine and a broad technical knowledge and interest. We see that you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working both independently and in groups. You are also careful, responsible and have your own initiative as well as a desire to develop and deepen your knowledge in the mechanical field.

Requirements:

  • High school education in automotive engineering or equivalent
  • Communication skills in Swedish and English
  • Driving license for passenger car

Meritorious:

  • Previous mechanical experience in heavy vehicles, tire handling, welding, mechanical-electrical and hydraulics training
  • Good computer skills and knowledge/experience of the Maximo maintenance system
  • Communication skills in Finnish
