Are you a driven mechanic who wants to make a difference? We are now looking for a temporary replacement for one of our skilled employees to temporarily support another department - an important assignment where you will have a central role in our daily work and the opportunity to contribute with your skills.

Your role:

As a mechanic at our concentrator, you play a key role in ensuring that the equipment works smoothly and efficiently to minimize downtime. You will collaborate with the other mechanics in the team where the work includes maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of machines and equipment. The mechanics are responsible for a work area at the processing plant and sand magazine where they plan and execute the work orders while having a preventive approach in their work.

We are looking for you who are proactive, solution-oriented, have experience working as a mechanic and value cooperation and communication. To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you have a positive attitude, are adaptable and have a willingness to develop and improve working methods and have a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.

The working hours are Monday-Friday 07.00-15.45 above ground. Standby is included in the service and there may be overtime in the event of, for example, breakdowns and UH stops. The temporary position runs from as soon as possible until October 2026.

Your team:

You will be part of a team of mechanics and FU mechanics who value collaboration and innovation. We work together to achieve common goals and support each other in our work. You will report to the supervisor of mechanics who are part of the above ground maintenance department.

Your duties:

  • Rounding assigned area of responsibility and other operations as needed.
  • Performing regular maintenance and repairs in the operations.
  • Troubleshoot and correct problems to minimize downtime.
  • Documentation in our maintenance system Maximo.
  • Participate in improvement meetings and process group meetings and contribute ideas to optimize our processes.

Your contribution:

  • High school education with industrial engineering or similar education
  • Experience in maintenance work
  • B-driving license
  • Good computer skills
  • Swedish and English in speech and writing

Merit is:

  • Several years of experience working as a mechanic
  • Work experience in maintenance in the process industry
  • Preventive maintenance experience
  • Experience with Maximo
