Your role:

As a planner, you are responsible for preparing and planning mechanical maintenance operations. You will ensure that technical documents such as drawings, instructions and manuals, as well as spare parts, special equipment and materials are available for maintenance assignments. The work often involves site visits, either independently or together with internal or external mechanics, in order to achieve high quality and efficiency during shutdowns and maintenance activities.

The area of responsibility includes various types of maintenance assignments, including: welding of steel structures, repair and replacement of components in transportation systems, work with material processing equipment, and maintenance of furnaces, gas cleaning equipment and filter plants.

You are in regular contact with the purchasing department and external suppliers in connection with orders. Together with the unit manager, the execution team and the client, you draw up timetables for when the assignments are to be carried out.

You are involved in or drive the development of methods linked to the planning, preparation and execution of maintenance work. Both for emergency and planned maintenance.

System-wise, you will mainly work in the Maximo maintenance system, you will come into contact with several other systems.

Your team:

As a planner with us, you are part of a committed and close-knit team. The position involves working closely with two other planners and the Head of Unit. You will have regular contact with mechanics both within your own organization and external companies.

Your contribution:

To succeed in the role, we see that you have a good ability to structure and prioritize tasks, take the initiative and drive the work forward in an independent way. You communicate clearly and responsively with different functions, and you work well in a team. Furthermore, you are solution-oriented and have an analytical approach to technical challenges.

We see that you who are applying have:

• High school education, with a focus on technology, industry, construction, electricity, or the equivalent.
• Several years of experience in maintenance work, preferably mechanical.
• Experience in troubleshooting.
• Willingness to administer, structure and plan work assignments.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills and experience of working in maintenance systems.
• B driving license.

It is meritorious with:

• Post-secondary education in mechanical engineering, maintenance technology, industry or process.
• Experience of work in heavy process or manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge and experience of Excel, our maintenance system Maximo and a planning tool ex. MS Project
• Experience in reading drawings / construction work
• Knowledge of CE marking.
