Join us and drive change for future generations.

We are now looking for four miners for our mine in Garpenberg within Production Ort who want to be part of a larger context.

Your Role

Work in the underground mining operation covers the entire mining cycle, excluding loading. Tasks range from drilling to rock reinforcement. You may be assigned to any of our tasks related to the mining cycle, depending on where the need arises.

If you are responsible and self-motivated, with a focus on safety, and able to work both independently and as part of a team, this might be the job for you.

As a rock miner in Production Ort, you may be involved in various stages of the blasting cycle, such as:

  • Drilling
  • Loading and blasting
  • Demolition
  • Rock reinforcement (bolting, mesh installation, and shotcrete)

Your Qualifications

  • High school diploma, preferably with a focus on rock engineering, construction, or civil engineering
  • Strong communication skills in spoken and written Swedish and English
  • Class B driver’s license
  • Proficiency with computers and systems

The following are considered a plus:

  • Class C driver’s license
  • Previous experience in open-cut and tunnel excavation
  • Blasting certification with experience in blasting work
  • Proficiency with machinery, experience operating large machinery
