Your role

As a Production LTL miner, you are a central part of the daily mining operations in Garpenberg. You work underground in a technology-driven production area where order, safety and cooperation are crucial. The work combines mechanical loading work, screen and machine-controlled, with elements of manual loading and daily supervision. You enjoy working in a close-knit team, but also have the ability to work independently in the field when operations require it.

The position is permanent with access according to agreement. The working hours are shifts 7-7 day/night underground. Probationary period may apply.


Your team

You are part of a close and well-functioning shift team of loaders / miners, together with a supervisor. The team works on a rotating schedule that includes starting up machines, daily supervision, lubrication and checking loading areas. A good atmosphere, open communication and shared responsibility for a safe working environment are obvious parts of everyday life with us.


Your tasks

  • Loading and transportation of rock masses with underground machines
  • Daily supervision and inspection of machines, simple lubrication and maintenance in the immediate environment
  • Work safely according to established routines and contribute to order, cleanliness and efficient workflows
  • In the event of an operational disruption, switch to driving in the field with a box and work independently
  • Collaborate closely with shift teams, mine construction, maintenance, electricity and transportation for a safe and efficient production


Your contribution

  • High school diploma, preferably with a technical or mechanical focus
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish, as well as basic knowledge of English
  • B-driving license
  • Good computer and system skills


It is an advantage if you have:

  • C-driving license
  • Experience in similar work
  • Technical interest and/or interest in machines
