As a Mobile Machinery Technician at Renströmsgruvan, you will be a key person in the work of ensuring high operational safety on our mobile machines. Here you will have the opportunity to combine technical problem solving, analysis and improvement work in a high-tech environment underground. Your role

In the role of Mobile Machinery Technician, you work to increase the long-term operational reliability of our mobile machines through preventive maintenance, analysis of recurring errors and active improvement work. You play an important role in planning, implementing and documenting maintenance activities according to set strategies and procedures. In emergency situations, you act quickly and solution-oriented to restore function. The role also includes tests, checks and work with routines regarding guarantees and quality and environmental requirements.

Your team

You will be part of the maintenance organization in the Renströms mine and work closely with supervisors, processors, mechanics, engineers and other support functions. The work is characterized by close dialogue, joint meetings, knowledge exchange and a shared responsibility for creating a safe, efficient and sustainable work environment. During the ongoing work period, you have continuous contact with colleagues in the shift team.

Your tasks

  • Support supervisors in coordinating work with other stakeholders
  • Active participation in joint meetings and ensure good communication within the shift team
  • Plan, implement and document maintenance activities
  • Prevent and correct technical faults on machines, equipment and systems
  • Follow up on operating data, warranties, error codes and deviations together with the engineer
  • Contribute to improvement work and development of procedures, SOP/FU templates and work instructions
  • Participate in inspections of mobile machines with third parties
  • Act according to environmental, safety and quality requirements and report deviations

Your contribution

You are analytical, structured and technically interested, with the ability to see the big picture and details at the same time. You thrive in a role that combines hands-on work with problem solving, communication and improvement. You are confident in collaborating with many different functions and take responsibility for creating order, quality and safety in both working methods and technology.

We are looking for you who have

  • Secondary technical education, preferably automotive, mechanics or equivalent
  • Experience in mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and electronics
  • Good ability to analyze technical problems and work solution-oriented
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
  • Basic knowledge of English in speech and writing
  • B-driving license

Meritatory is if you have

  • Post-secondary education in mechanics or relevant technical field
  • Experience of maintenance work, industrial or mining environment
  • Experience with Maximo or other maintenance systems
