Your role:

As a Network Technician, you are responsible for the operation, monitoring and development of our network with a focus on availability, security and performance. You will work on configuring and optimizing network solutions, managing incidents and preventing disruptions in an environment where stability is crucial. The role involves driving local network initiatives in line with Boliden Rönnskär's policies and standards.

Your tasks:

• Ensure that the network functions optimally and meets high standards of security and availability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, document and resolve incidents in the network environment.
• Plan and implement network-related work and changes.
• Proactively work to prevent operational disruptions and security risks.
• Contribute with knowledge, support and technical advice
• Participate in projects and development initiatives.

Your team:

The position is a full-time, permanent position located at Rönnskär. You report to the IT Manager and become part of a small team where we together drive the development of smarter and more efficient Agile methods and working methods. Your sense of service, willingness to learn and ability to think long-term make you an important part of our team.

Your contribution:

We would like you to have a relevant college or university degree in IT, computer engineering, network engineering or similar field. Alternatively, you have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience.

To succeed in the role, you have experience of networks and infrastructure and a genuine interest in technology.

You work independently, take the initiative and are driven by curiosity and development. You see change as an opportunity, are solution-oriented and have the ability to see the big picture. You communicate clearly with different stakeholders and use your ability to collaborate and find smart solutions.

Advantages:

• Previous work with network infrastructure, such as LAN/WAN and WiFi, firewalls, routing and advanced switching.
• Knowledge of virtualization environments, cloud computing and automation.
• Experience in OT operations.
• Knowledge of security solutions and network monitoring.
• Knowledge of Orion, Linux, Python, Azure and CCNP certification.
