Your role:

As an Operations Center Operator, you have a key position in the Renströms mine. Your mission is to create and coordinate sustainable weekly and shift plans for mining operations with a focus on high safety and productivity. You will work in the operations center where you will coordinate work groups and play a central role in emergencies, as well as being responsible for monitoring shell protection. Through your work, you contribute to the achievement of the objectives and efficient operation of the business.

We offer a temporary position of 12 months starting as soon as possible by agreement.

Your team:

You will be part of a dedicated team of four colleagues who together drive the work forward. The work is shift-based, which means that you take turns taking responsibility for production and ensuring that everything works as it should. The shifts run every other week, from Tuesday to Monday, and alternate between morning and afternoon.

Your tasks:

• Responsibility for planning and preparing activity plans for the mining operation, in line with both short and long-term goals.
• Follow-up of ongoing activities, prioritizing efforts and adjusting planning in case of unforeseen events.
• Analysis of deviations and work on developing efficient working methods.
• Preparation and compilation of production reports.

Your contribution:

To thrive in this role, you need to like having several balls in the air and be able to quickly prioritize among tasks. You are structured, focused and have good communication skills. We also look for you to be curious, ask questions and have an analytical mindset that helps you follow up on results and solve problems. To succeed in the role, you also need to have strong collaboration and coordination skills.

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Fluent in Swedish and good knowledge of English
• Good computer skills
• B driving license

Additional:

• Experience from a similar role, for example in operations, logistics or alarm center.
• Experience from the mining industry
