Your tasks:
The position of Mobile Machinery Maintenance Operations Manager involves participating in and taking a leading role in the building and continuous improvement of a world-class maintenance operation. Such an operation is characterized by the fact that the anticipatory and preventive safety and maintenance work governs the execution of the maintenance work, the acute remedial efforts are not controlling but rather parts of deviation management. The production availability of mobile machines and equipment in such a well-developed maintenance operation is then around 90% for the most production-critical machines; large wheel loaders and rock trucks and slightly lower for the more service-oriented machines. To get there, you need to participate and be a leading force in a cultural journey characterized by unbridled will and determination to constantly improve and improve and constantly stay ahead.
The Operations Manager transforms the section manager's operational and financial framework and guidelines for resource allocation in terms of personnel, premises and equipment to meet the overriding requirements for safety and availability of machines and equipment. In concrete terms, the predictive part of maintenance means access to and qualified analysis of machine data that, for example, serves as a basis for inspections. Machine data development is moving fast and mine maintenance needs to keep up with and then be at the forefront of this development.
You also need to ensure that other parts of preventive maintenance; inspection, planning, preparation and execution are constantly improved. Similarly, it is your responsibility to ensure the supply of mechanics for the performance of preventive and corrective maintenance.
It is the section manager who is the driving force and cohesive to create and update the agreements with the contractors and follow up on contract compliance and contractor performance, but it is important that you actively participate in that work.
Your contribution:
We see that you have at least 5 years of experience from a supervisory position in maintenance in industrial companies. You also bring a lot of drive and good teamwork skills. You are good at communicating and are clear in your role.
