Your Role

We are currently seeking an Operations Technician whose primary responsibilities will include gates, overhead cranes, and elevators, as well as grating and railings. As an Operations Technician, you’ll work closely with both operations and maintenance teams focused on the crushing & infrastructure and the enrichment plant, with an emphasis on coordination and development on the shop floor. The role is independent and involves broad responsibilities, where you will drive improvement initiatives, lead activities, and ensure that work is carried out in accordance with our procedures, processes, and high safety standards.

Collaboration and communication are a natural part of your daily work, where you’ll work with multiple functions and contribute to the overall success of the business.

Your Team

You will be part of a small team with a broad range of responsibilities and will have many points of contact, both internally and externally. The work is scheduled during daytime hours.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Be responsible for doors, overhead cranes, and elevators, as well as grating floors and railings
  • Handle emergency repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Inspect load-bearing structures
  • Lead and organize work meetings with a focus on operations
  • Manage small-scale projects related to operations
  • Prepare documentation, action plans, and follow-ups
  • Participate in projects involving the procurement of materials and services
  • Ensure that ergonomics, safety, and occupational health aspects are taken into account
  • Maintain an ongoing dialogue with the operations team through meetings and on-site presence

The work is largely carried out on-site within the operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Experience and a solid understanding of load-bearing structures and safety aspects related to steel structures and access routes
  • Knowledge of corrosion protection
  • Strong administrative skills and proficiency with Office programs
  • Good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Manual Class B driver’s license

Experience in purchasing, a maintenance system, such as Maximo, as well as experience working with machinery in an industrial environment
