Job duties

In the coming years, driverless mining trucks will be introduced in Aitik, which means big changes in how the business is conducted. We are looking for you who want

be part of this change where together we create the Aitik of the future.

In the role of Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) Central Controller, you monitor production within the autonomous zone based on production targets and all available information in the control room. You help manage and are responsible for providing access to the autonomous zone. In this role, you oversee all manned and automated vehicle movements and assign tasks to the autonomous trucks to optimize production. With us, all employees participate actively to achieve a safe and good working environment where work environment issues have the highest priority.

The position is located in Aitik, Gällivare and you report to the section manager for truck automation. The position is a shift, but may initially be daytime during training and commissioning of the system. As AHS central controller, we work together with 2 people per shift.

education and experience

We look forward to working with you who is flexible and has an easy way of communicating with others. You have logical thinking, like to be thorough and like to take the initiative. We are looking for you who have a high school education, preferably with a specialization in technology. Relevant university education is meritorious. We want you to have previous experience of working in control rooms, mining production or other relevant experience. You can communicate in English and Swedish and you have a B driving licence. A simultaneous ability test will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
