To enable the increased production, we have created new roles as pallet mining supervisors. We are recruiting two new supervisors for this role.

Daily we work towards new improved ways of working and cooperation between the sections to reach our common goal.

Your role

We are now looking for supervisors for the underground pallet mining in Garpenberg. As a supervisor with us, you are responsible for a team of 17 employees who work with unloading disc pallets.

As a supervisor with us, you will have a central role in leading and developing our team. You will work closely with both management and employees to ensure that our processes are safe and as efficient as possible for us to achieve our goals. We look for a coaching leadership style that is motivated by seeing others grow and develop. You have a structured approach and enjoy working in environments where you are involved in change management and the creation of structure and order, and promote participation and cooperation in the group through motivation and commitment. Safety and a pleasant working environment are our highest priority.

The management role also includes responsibilities in personnel planning, labor law, rehabilitation, development talks, salary talks as well as competence development, budget etc.

The position is a permanent full-time position underground in Garpenberg. Travel may occur in the service. Working hours are 7-7 day.


Your team

You will lead a well-functioning group of 14 employees who go 7-7 day and night, and 3 employees who go 7-7 daytime. You are part of the Production Lot Management section and will have a wide network throughout the organization. You will report to the Section Manager for Production Lot Holding.


Your tasks

  • Lead and distribute the work in the group
  • Develop employees, processes and improvement work
  • Participate in weekly and monthly planning
  • Responsibility and execution of the plan
  • Budget responsibility
  • Responsibility for parts of personnel processes
  • Ensure clear handovers between shifts


Your contribution

  • Preferably a post-secondary degree in mining & construction or work in the mining industry; construction, or work in the mining industry where knowledge / experience has been acquired in another way and can be weighed as equivalent
  • Leadership experience
  • Good knowledge of the Office package and other system habits
  • Good communication skills in both Swedish and English in speech and writing
  • B driving license
  • Sprängkort A is meritorious
