Your role:
In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated and knowledgeable payroll specialists, working together to create effective and legally compliant payroll processes. Your ability to inspire, engage and guide will be crucial to our joint success where an important part of your leadership is to create trust and build relationships. The role includes developing and following up on the operational payroll work and creating and ensuring routines and working methods. In collaboration with various functions and other teams in Boliden, you are involved in driving the digital development of the payroll function, where a cornerstone is to work with continuous improvements.
Your team:
You lead a team of payroll specialists and work closely with the department, other HR and finance functions. Together you will create a safe and qualitative payroll delivery for Boliden's entire Swedish operations. You report directly to the Head of HR Sweden. You will be based in Boliden together with your team of about ten employees, but you may also lead employees at other Swedish sites.

We are looking for you who have experience and understanding of the complexities of payroll work, preferably in a senior position. You have good knowledge of labor law, collective agreements and payroll systems. You are strategic, goal-oriented and responsible. Through your way of communicating, your responsiveness and ability to make decisions, you get people on board and show the way forward.Building relationships and trust is important to you in your leadership. You thrive on leading development in a larger organization. Your qualifications are a high school diploma and either a college or university degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. You have spoken and written Swedish and English and a B driving license. Experience of operational work with payroll management is a requirement. It is meritorious if you have experience of change management and improvement work.
