We are now looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our payroll team in Boliden!
Do you want to be part of shaping the future of the payroll function in one of Sweden's most exciting industrial companies? Boliden is on an exciting journey towards more centralized and efficient payroll management, and we are looking for you who want to be part of making a real difference.
With us, you get to work in a professional payroll environment where quality, collaboration and development are in focus - and where you as a specialist get good opportunities to influence both working methods and solutions.
Welcome to a team where your skills are put to good use!
Your role
Boliden continues to grow, and as we develop, the need to strengthen our internal functions also increases. Therefore, we are now expanding our payroll team with an additional employee.
We are looking for a confident and committed Payroll Specialist who wants to take a key role in a team with high drive and great responsibility. With your broad experience and genuine interest in the entire payroll process, you will work both with complex issues and with our continuous improvement work. With us, you will be met by a warm culture where quality and development are in focus.
Your team
The position is a full-time, permanent position based in Boliden. You will report to our Payroll Manager and be part of a dedicated and competent team of nine Payroll Specialists.
With development as our guiding principle, we are together responsible for producing salaries for all employees in all of Boliden's operations. We work closely with managers and colleagues in the organization and value collaboration, flexibility and a strong team spirit.
Your tasks
The role is varied and follows the payroll cycle, with periods of high analysis and problem solving combined with continuous improvement work together with the team.
Your contribution
In the role of payroll specialist with us, you ensure correct and professional payroll management, where your structured approach, your precision and your ability to handle complex processes are crucial. You have solid experience in understanding labor laws and interpreting collective agreements, as well as identifying discrepancies. With your service-oriented attitude, you create trust in contact with managers and employees, while taking great responsibility for your own deliveries.
To succeed in the role, we would like you to have an academic education or YH degree in payroll or economics, or that you have built up equivalent competence through relevant and documented work experience. You have several years of experience in qualified payroll management for both salaried employees and collective workers and feel confident in working independently with complex payroll issues.
You have a good command of Swedish and English in both speech and writing. As travel to our other facilities occurs, you also need a B-driving license. If you have experience of working in various payroll and schedule management systems, it is meritorious.
Why work with us
At Boliden, we believe in promoting a workplace where care, courage and responsibility are central to everything we do. We offer a workplace where we believe in collaboration and where what you contribute will have a direct impact on future generations. We are a company of responsible and creative people all working towards the same vision; to become the most sustainable and respected metals supplier in the world.
