Are you the one?

Boliden is a high-tech metals company with its own mines and smelters that works long-term to guarantee society's access to base and precious metals. For a century, our work has been part of the value chains that shape modern society. At Boliden, we know that the metals we mine and make available will continue to play a crucial role in the future - what matters is how we produce them. Join us and drive change for future generations.

As a Planner in Renströmsgruvan, you will have a central and coordinating role where you ensure that our maintenance activities are well planned, quality assured and feasible. You will combine structure, technical understanding and close collaboration with multiple functions to create stable and sustainable flows in the maintenance work.

Your role

In the role, you are responsible for the entire chain from incoming work orders to completed plans. You act as a gatekeeper for all plannable work orders, ensuring that quality, information and priority are correct. You prepare work orders together with the relevant functions and schedule both short-term workflows and long-term plans. The role also involves ongoing collaboration, analysis and follow-up to strengthen operational reliability and improve our processes over time.

Your team

You are part of a team where planning, work management and operations work closely together. You will work closely with mine planning, maintenance and other support functions and will be a central point of contact to ensure good communication and common direction.

Your tasks

  • Plan, prepare and schedule work orders for maintenance and operations, both short-term and long-term.
  • Manage incoming work orders and ensure quality, priority and complete information.
  • Prepare the execution of works through work instructions, risk analysis and material and resource planning.
  • Monitor and manage backlog, evaluate and reprioritize work orders in consultation with technicians and plant owners.
  • Keep plans updated based on operating conditions, legal requirements, inspections and changes in mining plans.
  • Analyze error codes and recurring deviations and contribute to improved working methods and increased operational safety.
  • Follow up on costs, support stop planning and contribute to compliance with health and safety, environmental and safety requirements.

Your contribution

The role requires a structured and self-driven person with the ability to create order and clarity in complex environments. Good communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential, as is the ability to see the big picture and understand how different parts interact. An analytical and solution-oriented working style is essential, as is an interest in developing both working practices and relationships. The work is performed in the borderland between technology and coordination, which requires the ability to prioritize well and ensure quality throughout the process, from work order to delivery.

We are looking for you who have

  • Documented experience of planning/preparation/scheduling in maintenance or similar industrial environment
  • Experience of maintenance systems, preferably Maximo
