For a century, our work has been part of the value chains that shape modern society. At Boliden, we know that the metals we mine and make available will continue to play a crucial role in the future - what matters is how we produce them. Your role
As a process operator at Boliden Bergsöe, you will have an important role where you contribute to both a sustainable environment and efficient production. Bergsöe is one of the Nordic region's leading players in lead recycling and here you get to help shape a sustainable future.
In this role, you will work in our Breaker - the part of the plant where incoming car and truck batteries are pre-treated and separated. This is an important first step in our recycling chain and a prerequisite for the residual material to be later refined into new lead products. As a process operator, you ensure that the production in the Breaker works efficiently, safely and with high quality. You plan, control and monitor processes and equipment, follow up on production and quality through rounds, checks and reporting, and handle deviations and simple maintenance. You work closely with your team and other departments - together you create a safe, structured and pleasant working environment where order and safety are always in focus.
The position is full-time and involves working in two shifts.
Your team
You will be part of a team of six operators in total, with three people on each shift. As the whole team meets at every shift change, you will have natural check-ins and a close dialog with all colleagues. The group has an open and positive climate where you support each other, share knowledge and collaborate closely in the daily work.

It is meritorious if you have previous experience of working in the process industry, preventive maintenance and forklift license and / or driving license for wheel loaders.
