Your role:

We are looking for a committed and experienced leader for our new electrolysis plant - a key role in the start-up of a new production facility where you will play a central role in our future production. In the role of Unit Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of around 15 operators, working closely with technicians, engineers and the Section Manager. Together, we work to refine anode copper (about 98% copper) to 99.98% pure copper, as well as to release valuable metals such as gold, silver and palladium for further processing. You will help shape the working methods, procedures and culture of a new business. This involves both operational leadership and strategic responsibility for developing the team and ensuring a good safety culture and efficient and stable production.

To succeed in the role, it is important that you have experience from the process industry and knowledge of process control and quality control. We also look for you to have a good understanding of process flows, operations and safety issues - and be used to working in a technically complex environment. In addition to your technical skills, we are looking for you to have the following qualities:

  • The ability to see the big picture, be analytical and work in a structured way
  • A coaching leadership style and an interest in developing both people and business
  • Good collaboration skills and used to building strong relationships in a technically complex environment

Your tasks:

  • Lead and distribute the daily work within the team
  • Monitor and ensure that production meets safety requirements, production and quality targets
  • Initiate and drive improvement efforts for increased efficiency and development
  • Responsible for resource planning, staffing and scheduling
  • Have overall responsibility for human resources and budget within the unit


Your contribution:

  • Three-year secondary education - preferably complemented by post-secondary studies from college or university.
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience from the process industry
  • Communication skills in Swedish and English
  • B-driving license

It is meritorious if you have experience of commissioning a new plant and knowledge and experience of Lean production.
