Are you the one?

Boliden is a high-tech metals company with its own mines and smelters that works long-term to guarantee society's access to base and precious metals. For a century, our work has been part of the value chains that shape modern society. At Boliden, we know that the metals we mine and make available will continue to play a crucial role in the future - what matters is how we produce them. Join us and drive change for future generations.

As a production engineer in the anode foundry at Rönnskär, you will be an important part of the final stage of the copper line, where copper anodes are formed for further refinement in electrolysis plants or delivery to customers. The role exists to ensure stable, safe and efficient production while we develop our working methods for the future. You contribute with technical expertise, structure and collaboration that makes a real difference in a complex industrial environment. With us, you get the opportunity to influence both daily operations and long-term development in a business with great importance for society's electrification and sustainable transition.

Your role

As a production engineer, you work closely with production in the anode foundry, a central part of the copper process where raw materials are refined into finished anodes. You have a holistic role where you coordinate efforts, follow up the availability of the plant and drive improvements together with colleagues in production, maintenance and technology.

You help create structure in the work around maintenance, priorities and investments. The role involves clear responsibility, but also strong support from the team and the organization. You contribute both operationally and strategically, focusing on safety, reliability and long-term development.

Your team

You will be part of a dedicated and experienced team consisting of production engineers, unit managers and flow coordinators. Here you work closely together with an open collaborative climate where knowledge sharing and development are a natural part of everyday life.

You have daily contact with the operating organization and work in close dialogue with the maintenance department and external partners. You also participate in the copper line's joint forum and contribute to decisions on priorities, investments and improvement work.

Your tasks

  • Coordinate efforts linked to maintenance and availability in the plant
  • Conduct and follow up breakdown analyses and ensure measures
  • Plan and prioritize maintenance work together with the relevant functions
  • Act as a client towards the maintenance department
  • Responsible for budget linked to operations and maintenance
  • Lead investment projects and development initiatives
  • Collaborate with colleagues to optimize production and process efficiency
  • Communicate and interact with contractors and internal stakeholders

Your contribution

You contribute by creating structure and coherence in a complex business. You actively collaborate with different competences and build trust in your relationships. You are responsible and confident in prioritizing, while seeing opportunities for improvement.

You thrive in an environment where you get to combine analysis with practical work and where learning is a natural part of everyday life. Your ability to communicate clearly and build consensus helps the team reach common goals.

We are looking for you who have

  • Engineering education or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience from the process industry or manufacturing operations
  • Knowledge in maintenance, operations or technical coordination
  • Experience in running projects or improvement work
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English
  • B-driving license

Advantageous

It is advantageous if you have:

  • Experience from smelting, foundry or metal industry
  • Experience from investment projects
  • Knowledge in accessibility work or production development

We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all the requirements, we value potential and willingness to develop.
