Your Role
As a production engineer at Rönnskär, you’ll have a broad, hands-on role focused on ensuring the operations, availability, and development of our facilities. You’ll work with facilities in areas such as logistics and sampling, where your responsibilities will include both day-to-day issues and long-term improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities include coordinating shutdown activities, identifying and driving investment needs, and ensuring the efficient and long-term development of the facilities. You will act as the client representative for the maintenance organization and be responsible for budget monitoring within your area of responsibility. The role involves frequent interaction with various stakeholders, and you will serve as a key link between production, maintenance, and development. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to combine technical responsibility with improvement initiatives in an environment where your expertise makes a difference.
Your Team
You will be part of the Materials Handling and Business Development department, which manages the entire material flow—from notification of incoming raw materials to quality control, planning, and transportation of finished products. As a production engineer, you’ll be part of the Coordination and Freight Forwarding section, where you’ll work closely with colleagues in quality, process development, logistics, systems support, and administration. The team is characterized by strong commitment, close collaboration, and a desire for continuous improvement. Here, we help one another, share knowledge, and work together to achieve our goals.
Your Responsibilities
Your contribution
We’re looking for someone who is curious, positive, and solution-oriented. You take initiative, drive issues forward, and see opportunities where others see obstacles. You thrive on taking responsibility, creating structure, and prioritizing when multiple tasks are underway simultaneously. As a person, you are communicative and find it easy to build strong relationships and collaborations. With your commitment and drive, you are eager to take on new challenges and contribute to the development of the organization.
Requirements:
Previous experience in the process or manufacturing industry, as well as knowledge or experience in maintenance and project management, is a plus. Experience with the Maximo maintenance system or equivalent systems is a plus.
