The Mining Engineering section is responsible for, among other things, Aitik's mining planning and mine maps. The section consists of teams specialized in Geology, Mine Surveying, Mine Planning, Drilling and Blasting Technology, Production Technology and Mining and Water Technology. We work to create the conditions for efficient production and the work is carried out in close cooperation with other sections.

Your role
In the role of Production Engineer AHS, you will be Aitik's technically knowledgeable specialist in Autonomous Haulage System. You will actively work on the development of the mine's autonomous production. You will analyze data to identify recurring bottlenecks or disruptions and support the business in implementing continuous improvements to streamline and optimize production.

The position is a full-time permanent position based in Aitik. Start date is subject to agreement.
Your contribution
We are looking for you who have an engineering degree with a focus on systems, quality, logistics, automation or production technology or equivalent education that the employer considers equivalent. We would like to see that you have a few years of experience working with data analysis, optimization of production flows and development of working methods and system support. Experience from working with Modular mining / AHS, SQL and CAD is meritorious.
We believe that you are structured, driven, analytical and result-oriented. You have a problem-solving attitude and good collaboration skills. You enjoy taking on new challenges and are driven to improve and contribute to efficient working methods and production. You are expected to have good communication skills as the role involves many contacts and collaborations. You are flexible and enjoy working both independently and in a team. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.
English in speech and writing is a requirement and the work assumes good knowledge of the Swedish language (or the willingness to learn). Driving license B is also a requirement.
