Garpenberg is on the verge of increasing its production capacity and we are now looking for a Production Manager who wants to take a central role in that development journey. Your role
As Production Manager at the Garpenberg Processing Plant, you have overall responsibility for how production is planned, operated and developed, both in the short and long term. You are central to the dialog between the processing plant and the mine and are responsible for our end products all the way to loading in the port of Gävle. In the role, you ensure that production is stable, efficient and complies with set goals regarding quality, safety, economy and the environment. You drive the strategic development work, but are also close to the daily operations and lead your team, consisting of thirty-six people, towards common results. The assignment includes a clear work environment responsibility for the entire production operation. You are also responsible for plan compliance linked to production, budget, investments and for the entire chain including paste/backfill towards the mine.
The position is a permanent position during the day.
Your team
As Production Manager, you will be part of the processing plant's management team and work closely with the section managers for Process, Maintenance and Dams. You will report directly to the Enrichment Manager.
You will lead a dedicated production team that includes two supervisors, three technicians and one engineer. Together you form a competent team with high safety awareness and focus on stable and sustainable production.
