Do you want to work closely with the business and lead the daily work in one of Sweden's most advanced industrial environments? Aitik is now looking for a Production Manager for G56 Maintenance. An operational and responsible role for you who thrive on making decisions, coordinating resources and ensuring that production can continue even when the unexpected occurs.

Your role

As Production Manager, you lead and distribute the daily work within the maintenance operations. You have important operational responsibilities and act as a key person when regular functions are not in place. In this role, you will manage staff and facility emergencies, ensuring that the right actions are taken and that information is passed on to the responsible function.

You will be responsible for ensuring that unplanned maintenance work is carried out by coordinating resources, ordering spare parts and coordinating transportation and contractors. In the absence of regular functions, you take responsibility for daily planning and start-up of mechanics, including weekends.

You report to the Group Manager.

Your tasks

In the role, you are responsible for, among other things:

  • Leading and distributing the daily work and working with daily management in the business
  • Responsible for the start-up of shifts for mechanics during weekends and together with the regular function ensure start-up during weekdays
  • Manage emergency personnel situations when regular functions are not in place and report to the responsible Group Manager
  • Manage emergency plant-related work when Technicians are not in place and feedback to the responsible function
  • Coordinate and run unplanned maintenance work, including ordering spare parts in Maximo, transportation and resources
  • Acting as an orderer towards contractors (not contractual responsibility)
  • Prioritize and coordinate maintenance efforts, activities and staffing to maintain production
  • Report deviations linked to production, safety and working methods
  • During planned maintenance stops (rope stops) coordinate maintenance activities together with the other functions involved
  • Contribute to identifying root causes of deviations and ensure that measures are taken to prevent recurring problems

Requirements:

  • High school education
  • B-driving license
  • Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English in speech and writing
  • Experience in leading other people and preferably leading smaller projects
  • Broad mechanical or technical background
  • Very good coordination skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility in emergency situations

It is meritorious if you have experience from the mining or mineral industry, knowledge of crushing, refractory or beneficiation plants and experience with Maximo or ABB systems.
