Boliden is a high-tech metals company with its own mines and smelters that takes a long-term approach to ensuring society’s access to base and precious metals. For a century, our work has been part of the value chains that have shaped modern society. At Boliden, we know that the metals we mine and make available will continue to play a crucial role in the future—what matters is how we produce them. Join us and drive change for future generations.

Would you like to work and grow in a world-leading mining company?

We’re offering an exciting position where, as a Production Manager, you’ll play a central role in coordinating our production in Aitik. Our employees are our most important factor for success, and we’re now looking to strengthen our team.

Your Responsibilities

As a Production Manager in Loading and Rock Transport, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and executing the activities necessary to ensure production has the best possible conditions to operate safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established standards.

Your focus is on optimizing production and ensuring optimal workflow. You are the one who oversees day-to-day operations in the field.

An important part of the job is collaborating and communicating with other parts of the production organization on issues that affect production.

Some of your daily tasks will include ensuring that loading can be carried out according to plan, activating and prioritizing machines in accordance with guidelines, promoting high quality and performance at loading and unloading sites, and reporting deviations.

As a production supervisor, you will report directly to the operations manager for production management. The work schedule is based on continuous K3 shifts, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

Your Contribution

You should have a high school diploma and experience working in a mine. Knowledge of mining production and experience planning production flows are a plus.

We’re looking for someone who’s good at seeing the big picture, and as a person, you’re also expected to be solution-oriented, driven, and flexible. The position requires that you be able to make decisions and that you have strong collaborative skills with colleagues within your own organization and with other functions both within and outside the mining department. You must be able to express yourself well both verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English and have basic computer skills. A Class B driver’s license (manual transmission) is required.

We offer a workplace where we value collaboration and where your contributions will have a direct impact on future generations. We are a company made up of responsible and creative people who are all working toward the same vision: to become the most sustainable and respected metals supplier in the world.
