Your Role

As a production planner at the Kankberg Mine, you’ll work closely with operations to develop and improve planning and work processes. You serve as the link between planning and production, monitoring production results, analyzing data, and identifying opportunities for improvement that strengthen the operation’s performance. The role involves close collaboration with production supervisors, mine planners, and other key functions, where you contribute through analysis, follow-up, and decision-making support. By turning insights into concrete actions, you help ensure safe and efficient mining operations.

Your Team

You will be part of the Mine Planning Section in Kankberg, where we work with mine surveying, geology, production planning, long-term planning, and diamond drilling. The section consists of employees with broad expertise in the mine’s planning and development work. Together, we help create the conditions for safe, efficient, and sustainable mining operations

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze production data and results
• Prepare analyses and decision-making documentation
• Drive improvement and development initiatives
• Ensure the quality of production data
• Develop planning, processes, and work methods
• Work actively in the MineInfo short-term planning system
• Support production supervisors in their short-term planning efforts

Your Contribution

We’re looking for someone who is analytical, organized, and curious. You enjoy working closely with the business and have the ability to see connections, identify root causes, and turn insights into improvements. The role involves frequent interaction with various stakeholders, which requires that you can collaborate well with others and communicate clearly and with integrity.

• A university or college degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with analysis, monitoring, or improvement initiatives
• Strong proficiency in Swedish and English
• Strong familiarity with systems
• Class B driver’s license

Experience in production planning, improvement initiatives, or business development within the mining, process, or manufacturing industries is a plus. Experience with MineInfo, Deswik,OPS, or equivalent planning systems, is also a plus.
