Your role
As a production technician, you work closely with the business and have a close collaboration with supervisors, operators and production manager. You are an important part of the daily work in production and contribute to developing our ways of working so that production in local and large-scale mining works stably, efficiently and safely. The role includes participating in planning, development work and machine purchases and coordinating efforts between different groups and functions. You support the operators in their competence development and work actively to find solutions to the challenges that arise in the production process. You have a central role in our improvement work and can, if necessary, lead initiatives linked to method and change development. An important part of the assignment is also to ensure compliance with B-safe and contribute to a safe and sustainable work environment.
The role follows 7-7 shifts, where you work every other week day and afternoon shifts. In case of short-term absence of the production supervisor, you will step in as acting supervisor and ensure that the daily work continues to function properly.
