Projects & Service Aitik

Would you like to lead projects that shape the industry of the future?

Boliden is a high-tech metals company with its own mines and smelters that works with a long-term perspective to ensure society’s access to base and precious metals. For a century, our work has been part of the value chains that have shaped modern society. At Boliden, we know that the metals we mine and make available will continue to play a crucial role in the future—what matters is how we produce them. Join us and drive change for future generations.

Your Role

We are looking for two project managers who thrive on taking responsibility, creating structure, and building strong partnerships. With us, you’ll lead a variety of projects in an environment where your commitment and ability to lead people are just as important as your technical expertise. Whether you’re already an experienced project manager or looking to take the next step in your career, we offer opportunities for growth. A broad project portfolio means your responsibilities can be tailored to your experience, skills, and ambitions, while also giving you the opportunity to gradually take on more complex projects over time.

As a project manager at Aitik, you’ll lead projects through the entire process, from preliminary studies and planning to implementation and completion. Projects vary in both size and scope and may include, for example, the development of industrial areas as well as land, civil engineering, process, and technology-related projects.

The role involves working independently while collaborating closely with the business and various project stakeholders. You’ll play a central role in creating structure, driving progress, and ensuring that projects are carried out safely, efficiently, and in a business-oriented manner.

Your Team

You’ll be part of a dedicated project organization that currently consists of four project managers and two project coordinators. Together, you’ll work closely with colleagues within the business, consultants, suppliers, clients, and other partners.

Your Responsibilities

· Lead projects through various project phases, from feasibility studies to implementation.

· Plan, coordinate, and monitor project objectives, timelines, and budgets.

· Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

· Work on both small and large-scale investment and development projects.

· Ensure effective communication and collaboration among the project’s various parties.

· Contribute to the development of future facilities and business areas at Aitik.

Your Contribution

We place great importance on your personal qualities and believe that you:

· Take responsibility, create structure, and drive the work forward.

· Builds trusting relationships and thrives when collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.

· Is curious, solution-oriented, and motivated by developing both the business and yourself.

Post-secondary education in a relevant field, along with experience in areas such as project management, supervisory roles, engineering, construction and civil engineering, the process industry, or mining, provides a strong foundation for success in this role. You communicate effectively in Swedish and English and hold a Class B driver’s license.
