Boliden Mineral AB is facing continued investments in Aitik and for the project department we are therefore looking for a project manager for construction projects. As a project manager, you are responsible for the implementation of remodeling, extension and new construction projects in Aitik's facilities. Through the various phases of the project, you lead your project group with competence and commitment to achieve set goals. This means, among other things, that you work to determine technical processes, produce decision support, carry out negotiations and contract management, carry out follow-up, report project status to the steering group and stakeholders and finally end investments in a structured manner.
The construction projects are usually multidisciplinary, which means that you will be responsible for different technical areas depending on the project's focus, such as beneficiation processes, mining dams, infrastructure, construction, land and construction. The department consists of project managers, design managers, project coordinators and construction managers who are responsible for the implementation of preliminary studies, preliminary designs and construction projects.
You are also a leader in the work related to work environment, quality work and environmental issues and work proactively with the development and improvement of routines and working methods. The work includes work environment coordination for both planning and execution of construction work. Boliden Mineral AB places great emphasis on a safe workplace, so you will be an important part in developing, following up and improving routines in this area. We have a uniform working method based on Boliden's project model and current procedures. The position is a permanent position and directly reports to the head of department in the project department.
We are looking for you who have a relevant engineering education or equivalent work experience. You have documented experience of project management in the mining, construction or process industry and preferably with knowledge and experience in one of the technical areas land/construction/mechanics/automation. If you have worked with beneficiation processes or mining facilities in construction projects, it is meritorious. Documented experience with BAS-P/U is also advantageous.
As a person, you are a natural leader with the ability to build and lead teams towards set goals. Cooperation is an obvious starting point for you. A willingness to work with continuous improvements and development of both the project department and Aitik as a whole is an important part of the work.
Communicative ability is important and you have a command of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
Driving license at least class B is a requirement.
